My love of real estate started at an early age.
After my parents divorced at the age of 4, I moved around a lot. I attended 5 new schools by the time I reached high school when my mom and stepdad bought a custom-built townhome. I remember my mom picking out the finishes for everything from the color of hardwood floors, the quality of padding under the carpet, to bathroom tiles and hardware finishes. I even pleaded with them to buy the upgraded stove because I thought it was pretty and I promised to cook more if they did. There's always been something special about the fresh smell of a new home and the possibilities that came with it.
My first job out of college was a photo editor at VHT. I sat in a dark room processing hundreds of images a day doing color corrections, adjusting exposures, and layering window composites. After a couple of years, I was in search of a great adventure so I moved to Los Angeles where I continued my nomad life trying to find a place to call home. I have lived all over the Southern California area from a shared house in Valley, a cute condo above a small waterfall in Encino off White Oak, a 2 bedroom apartment in Santa Monica on Bicknell a couple of blocks from the beach, to the most charming 100-year-old beach cottage in Huntington Beach with a white picket fence. After a divorce, I moved back to LA to a shared home in Mar Vista, a couple of months in Hollywood right off the walk of fame, to rethinking my life decisions in Harbor City, then to a nice Spanish Style home in Highland Park for a few years, to a weird artist sublease situation in Ktown, and now I've landed myself in Cypress Park in a cute area near the Dodgers Stadium.
What I've learned in my lifetime, is that home is not just an address on the map but rather, it's a place where hope and dreams live. It's somewhere we feel safe, feel loved, and it's a space to create new memories. These days, I focus the majority of my work on shooting commercial stuff including high-end real estate and architectural masterpieces. The images I create, give you a glimpse into some of the most treasured spaces in the world. That's what I can do for you.
