Aurora & James: Married in San Juan Capistrano

I met Aurora and James a year ago as they started planning their September wedding.  They would describe their vision as “Rustic Garden.”  With a love of vibrant colors and lots of handmade details their wedding came together in a beautiful way that was truly unique and personal.   One special thing Aurora and James did was have a special “first look” moment, where James was blindfolded and Aurora got to sneak a peek.  This allowed them time to have a quite moment in prayer together and exchange their gifts for each other.  Aurora was such a beautiful bride, smiling all day long!   And James was also filled with tons of emotion.  What a dream couple!  Here’s some of my favorite images from their day!

Vanessa + Ephraim’s Wedding: Los Angeles Arboretum + Botanical Garden

I was introduced to Vanessa and Ephraim a week ago as they were wrapping up plans for their wedding.  Since they were having a really hard time finding a photographer they loved… they were kinda stuck and running out of time.  Lucky for me, their wedding planner Kat Keane passed along my info and they instantly felt we were a great fit!   This past Thursday they were surrounded by their closest family as they said their vows and celebrated amongst the beautiful gardens.  Here’s a few of my favorite pictures!

Long Beach Art Museum Wedding: Gina & Issy

Gina and Issy had a beautiful intimate ceremony overlooking the beach at the Long Beach Art Museum this past weekend.  Unlike most of my couples, Gina booked me for her wedding over the phone, without ever meeting me in person.  One of her first questions to me was if I have photographed an older couple before followed by her second question if I had ever photographed a Jewish wedding before….  After sharing some samples, she felt confident we were a great match and I’m so glad she did!   Gina would describe her wedding as “untraditional” with a mix of bright colors of yellow, blue, and pinks.  She wore a navy evening gown with crystal beading and Issy wore a suit.  Here’s some of my favorite pictures from their day!
